x = Midnight Meat Train
It's all Yahoo Movies' fault. I was looking at the listing for new movies and Midnight Meat Train came up. Since my mind doesn't reside in the gutter, I didn't even think twice about the title. Considering the expressions on my co-workers faces though I've thought twice about telling my friends on match.com that I'm going to see Midnight Meat Train. LOL! They might get the wrong impression and there goes my S+S+E reputation. Well all I have to say is where does it say that a sweet intelligent suspense loving woman can see the occasional horror film. S+S+E > the occasional horror flick even if it's called Midnight Meat Train. LOL!

x = Celine Dion's All By Myself
One of the greatest movie moments of all time is the opening scene from Bridget Jones' Diary. I started thinking about it because my girlfriend just IM'd me to say that she was feeling down and missed being held by her ex-boyfriend. Being a woman myself, I reminded her that if she really thought about it...she didn't want just ANYBODY holding her right now. Because once the moment has passed, and it always does, she would instantly want him "out of her sight". LOL LOL LOL! She wholeheartedly agreed and then laughed too. So girls the great news is...if there's a movie scene out there that mimicks your life then you can automatically assume you're not alone. Every woman has felt the same way at one time or another and knows with full certainty that this too shall pass. Elizabeth, my dear sweet friend, thanks for giving me the opportunity to be a friend in return and for reminding me that S+S+E > being all by myself. Much love and S+S+E!

x = the perfect situation
Okay, so right now there isn't any knight in shining armor, house with a picket fence, 2.1 children or golden retriever in my life. But can I, a 36-year old knightless, houseless, childless, petless woman, really "get over" the perfect situation? (Sounds like a country song.) Anyway, it seems like I've been having alot of growth moments lately. Such was the case this morning while getting ready for work. I was listening to Weezer and feeling extremely satisfied with my knightless, houseless, childless, petless life. Why was today any different? It was then that I realized if I take time to sprinkle a little S+S+E on myself once in awhile, it changes my whole perspective. Not to mention, it looks and smells pretty darn good too.

x = IT geeks
I've secretly introduced some S+S+E into the IT department by playing the theme song from Beauty and the Beast at a very low, almost inaudible level. The guys have been humming it all day! (insert evil laugh) Their pattern-driven musically-inclined brains are eating it up.
